Job summary

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operational Readiness Manager to lead onboarding of new pension schemes, coordinate with outsourced administration teams and the PIC transition group, and ensure go-live readiness in line with the PIC operating model.

You will provide oversight of readiness activities, develop MI, manage risks and Day 1/Day 2 actions, and drive improvements across processes and data to ensure superior customer outcomes for policyholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive DB pension scheme knowledge.
• Proven project management techniques.
• Experience with pension buy-ins and buy-outs.
• Strong data analysis capabilities related to pension schemes.

Responsibilities

• Represent PIC on delivery decisions for client projects and operating model alignment.
• Support Head of Pension Operations in providing high-level client service.
• Coordinate with transition manager and outsourced admins for successful onboarding.
• Lead the operational readiness workstream with governance and escalation handling.
