Job summary
Buro Happold invites an experienced Associate / Associate Director, Operational Excellence, Technology & Transformation to join our global team. Based in Bath or London on a hybrid model, you will drive strategic operational improvements across engineering delivery, enabling smarter processes and AI-enabled optimisation.
You will partner with senior leaders to shape practical, scalable solutions, develop business cases and oversee pilots from discovery to adoption while ensuring commercial
Qualifications
- Significant engineering, operational or business transformation leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of how engineering projects are planned, governed, resourced and delivered.
- Experience in process improvement, operational excellence, business analysis or transformation programmes.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic operational improvement and transformation initiatives across the business.
- Work with senior stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities.
- Apply systems thinking to improve workflows, processes and delivery performance.
- Explore and implement opportunities for AI, automation and digital enablement.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions and discovery exercises.
- Develop business cases, pilots and proof-of-concepts to test new approaches.
- Define success measures and evaluate operational impact.
- Drive adoption and embed sustainable change across teams and regions.
