Job summary

Eurocell Group Ltd is looking for an Operational Excellence Partner to drive efficiencies across its 200+ Trade Branch Network. The role combines hands-on branch engagement with process improvement, using data and day-to-day observations to develop practical, scalable solutions.

You will work within Central Operations, engaging with Branch Teams, Regional Managers and IT to test and implement new processes and tools that raise efficiency and consistency across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-site CI in retail, distribution or branch ops.
• Strong problem-solving to identify inefficiencies and solutions.
• Understanding of business systems and technology; ability to explore digital tools.
• Innovative and proactive; comfortable challenging established ways.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple concurrent improvements to completion.
• Commercial awareness of impact on efficiency, productivity and customer experience.
• Comfortable using data/feedback to support decision-making.
• Awareness of AI, automation and emerging technologies for business use.
• Experience implementing new systems/tools to drive improvements.

ROLE: Operational Excellence Partner / Branch Network Process Improvement

HOURS: 37.5 per Week - Permanent Role, Monday to Friday

SALARY: £35,000 - £42,000, Dependent upon Skills and Experience

We are delighted to be recruiting an Operational Excellence Partner, with responsibility for identifying efficiencies and process improvements and driving consistent, effective and efficient ways of working across our Trade Branch Network of over 200 branches.

Our Operational Excellence Partners work within Central Operations, this role combines hands on branch engagement with process improvement, using insight from colleagues, operational data, and observation of day-to-day branch activity to develop practical solutions that deliver operational and process efficiencies to our Trade Branch environment.

WHAT OUR OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE PARTNERS DO:

• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency and standardise ways of working across our Trade Branch Network of over 200 branches
• Visit branches to understand day-to-day operational challenges and develop practical solutions
• Explore opportunities to use technology, digital tools, AI and automation to improve how we work
• Challenge existing processes and bring new ideas and approaches to solving problems
• Work collaboratively with Branch Teams, Regional Managers, IT and other Head Office functions
• Support the testing, implementation and adoption of new processes, tools and improvements
• Identify and share best practice across the network
• Develop and improve operational processes, procedures and supporting documentation
• Use operational insight, colleague feedback and data to identify opportunities and evaluate improvements

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE PARTNERS:

• Previous experience of multi-site Continuous Improvement activity within an operational environment, ideally retail, distribution, or branch operations
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions
• A good understanding of business systems and technology, with the confidence to explore digital solutions
• Innovative and proactive, with the confidence to question established ways of working
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with colleagues at all levels
• Organised and able to manage multiple concurrent activities and follow improvements through to completion
• Commercial awareness, and an understanding of the impact of operational processes on efficiency, productivity and customer experience
• Comfortable using data and feedback to support decision-making
• Awareness of AI, automation and emerging technologies and their potential business applications
• Experience of implementing new systems, processes or digital tools to drive process improvement and efficiencies
