Job summary

The Compleat Food Group seeks an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to drive continuous improvement across our Crewe site. You will lead the identification and delivery of OpEx opportunities, coaching teams from shop floor to management, and embedding lean culture with a focus on safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in OpEx methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Lean, TPS)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (HNC/HND) or apprenticeship
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing and continuous improvement leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic cycle to define the annual OpEx budget.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to identify improvement opportunities using data analysis and observations.
• Provide analytical support to understand current state and baseline performance.
• Governance and reporting on progress and benefits delivery.
• Lead multi skilled/cross functional teams to deliver complex projects.
• Develop and upskill colleagues in lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Embed tiered Performance Management at site level.
