Job summary

Ornua in Leek, UK is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead the site’s continuous improvement and Lean transformation, reporting to the Operations Controller.

You will drive Lean projects, develop the CI team, partner with senior leadership, build robust business cases, and embed change across end-to-end value streams to deliver measurable performance gains. A strong background in Lean Six Sigma and cross-functional delivery across dairy manufacturing or FMCG is preferred.

Qualifications

• People leadership experience managing or coaching a team.
• Lean Six Sigma/Black Belt accreditation.
• Background in Operational Excellence with cross-functional project delivery and quantifiable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site CI team and own Lean culture across the site.
• Drive data-driven insights to influence senior leadership and prioritise improvement priorities.
• Deliver end-to-end value stream maps and create robust business cases for improvements.
• Enable change management to secure sustained results and cross-functional collaboration.
