Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead the site-wide continuous improvement strategy at the Kingsbury, Greater London site. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on floor-level work to deliver measurable results across safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.

You will own cross-functional projects from concept to sustained outcomes, build solid business cases, and embed Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proven experience leading projects from concept to delivery with measurable, sustainable results.
• Track record of delivering improvements in productivity, quality, cost, delivery and capacity.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing teams at all levels.
• Experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 ideally.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the continuous improvement strategy across the site and ensure it supports overall business objectives.
• Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, productivity and capacity.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects from initial idea through to implementation and long term sustainability.
• Build business cases for improvement projects, including costs, benefits, resources and expected return.
• Introduce and embed Lean and Continuous Improvement tools, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping etc.
