Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions is seeking an Operational Support Manager to drive continuous improvement, change management and operational support across all activities. You will facilitate initiatives using best practice tools, standardise performance, and support process development with a focus on reporting and efficiency.

The role covers multiple depots across the South of England, with homebased flexibility and a Monday–Friday pattern.

Qualifications

• Experienced Logistics professional, graduate or with relevant qualifications.
• Experience of business implementation.
• Strong facilitator, able to engage people and teams.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and drive for business excellence.
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative to form solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage & support an effective operational process, ensuring integrity of customer/supplier service requirements.
• Manage commercial aspects of a transport operation to meet profit and service/quality targets.
• Uphold and maintain highest standards of Health & Safety.
• Review/introduce core process and procedures in all depots across the region.
• Evaluate and review reporting tools and implement best-in-class reporting standards.
