Job summary

Cathcart Associates in Glasgow is seeking a Business Analyst to join a global organisation focused on improving how the business operates, delivers services, and supports its people.

You will work with operational teams across departments to map processes and identify improvement opportunities, then lead workshops to uncover inefficiencies and shape practical improvements that drive better service delivery and transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or similar role.
• Strong process analysis and process mapping experience.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders.
• Comfortable challenging existing ways of working and driving conversations around change.
• Ability to balance analytical thinking with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Service Design, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Experience working within complex environments with shared services would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Understand operational challenges across the business and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead workshops and process reviews to uncover inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and pain points.
• Map current and future-state processes and help stakeholders define practical improvements.
• Support the delivery of service improvement and business transformation initiatives.
• Use data and stakeholder feedback to measure success and demonstrate impact.
• Help embed a culture of continuous improvement across the wider organisation.
