This is an established, niche insurer offering a fully remote role, allowing you to work from home every day.
In this 2nd line position, you’ll partner with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.
You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decisions related to operational and conduct risk. You’ll support the development and execution of the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with 1st line stakeholders.
You’ll help prepare and deliver risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulators as needed.
This role offers scope for personal initiative and encourages challenging the status quo to develop the company’s risk culture.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Risk professional from Financial Services, with broad Risk experience across disciplines like Operational and Conduct Risk. Insurance sector experience is advantageous but not essential.
You should have experience in developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical, curious mindset with a willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
