Role Overview: Looking for greater flexibility to work from home? Or perhaps you’re seeking your first Manager grade role where you can learn from a highly talented CRO? This established, niche insurer offers such opportunities.

This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from home every day.

Within 2nd line, you’ll partner with 1st line operations across claims, underwriting, and distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.

You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decisions related to operational and conduct risks. You’ll support the enhancement of the risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and conduct risk appetite monitoring with 1st line stakeholders.

You’ll help prepare and deliver risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulators as needed.

This role offers scope to shape your own approach and encourages challenging the status quo to develop the company's risk culture.

Ideal candidates will be experienced Risk professionals from the Financial Services sector, with broad risk experience including operational and conduct risk. Insurance sector experience is a plus but not essential.

Requirements include experience in developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possessing an analytical, curious mindset with a willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
