Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking a proactive team member to support the Met Sport team in daily sports facility operations. The role includes equipment setup, customer service, and lifeguarding as needed to ensure safe and smooth events and sessions.

The position requires reliability, good communication and time management, and the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet operational needs. Prior sports environment experience is desirable and proficiency with Microsoft Office is

Qualifications

• Experience working in a sports environment.
• NPLQ lifeguard qualification.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Join the Met Sport team and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of sports facilities and events. This position involves equipment setup, customer support, lifeguarding (NPLQ), venue preparation, and general day to day operations.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and passionate about delivering excellent service in a sporting environment.

Flexible working hours to suit operational needs including commitment to work evenings and weekends.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and display effective communication and time management skills. An ability to use Microsoft Office platforms will help to ensure effective utilisation of our facilities. Additionally, you’ll bring previous work experience of working within a sports environment.
