Leonardo UK is seeking Operational Analysts for the Global Combat Air System Programme (GCAP), which aims to deliver Tempest, a next-generation fighter aircraft replacing the RAF’s Typhoon.
Leonardo UK is advancing technologies in tactical sensing, data fusion, communications, machine learning, and defensive aids systems to enable Tempest to operate effectively in highly contested environments.
The role involves developing and demonstrating these technologies through synthetic environments and flight tests, working with the Ministry of Defence and air platform engineering teams to integrate capabilities into the Tempest aircraft.
This position covers the GCAP Portfolio, focusing on technology demonstrations and operational product development. The successful candidate will manage multidisciplinary teams to develop and integrate complex mission systems and oversee testing within synthetic environments and airborne trials.
GCAP is an international project, offering opportunities to travel and collaborate with teams in the UK, Italy, and Japan.
