Leonardo UK is seeking Operational Analysts for the Global Combat Air System Programme (GCAP), which aims to develop Tempest, a next-generation fighter aircraft replacing the RAF’s Typhoon.
Leonardo UK is innovating in advanced tactical sensing, data fusion, communications, machine learning, and defensive systems, enabling Tempest to operate effectively in high-threat environments.
The role involves developing technologies for demonstration in synthetic environments and flight tests, collaborating with the Ministry of Defence and air platform engineering teams to integrate these capabilities into the Tempest aircraft.
This position covers the GCAP Portfolio, focusing on technology demonstrations and operational product development. The successful candidate will manage multidisciplinary teams to develop, integrate, and evaluate complex mission systems in synthetic and airborne environments.
GCAP is an international project with opportunities for travel and collaboration with teams in the UK, Italy, and Japan.
