A1 Personnel is currently recruiting for an Operations Manufacturing Manager on a permanent contract for a client based in Watford.

The Operations Manufacturing Manager will oversee all aspects of production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include managing skilled artisans, implementing process improvements, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet quality and production targets.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
• Process Improvement: Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to optimize workflows and minimize waste.
• Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure operations adhere to health, safety, and industry standards.
• Logistics: Oversee import/export activities and coordinate with customs and freight services.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines, quality, and budgets are met.

Qualifications
