Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Cooley Dickinson Hospital seeks an experienced OR Registered Nurse to provide nursing care as Circulating Nurse for the surgical patient. You will work to ensure a safe, effective perioperative experience and advocate for patients throughout the procedure.

The role involves a 40-hour work week, daytime shifts, onsite at 30 Locust Street in Northampton, MA, and requires Massachusetts RN licensure with BLS; ACLS and PALS/ENPC within the specified times. ”

Qualifications

• RN license in Massachusetts (required)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire or transfer into position
• PALS or ENPC required within 3 months of hire or transfer into position
• 1–3 years Operating Room experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate and direct all nursing care for patients based on established standards of care.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and outcomes.
• Act as Circulating Nurse in the OR and advocate for the anesthetized patient.
