Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse to deliver patient care during 7:00pm–7:30am shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include RN licensure in Massachusetts, BSN preferred, BLS certification, and ACLS within 6 months. Prior telemetry or critical care experience is preferred, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS within 6 months of employment.
• Critical care or Telemetry experience is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills are required.
• Additional unit-specific education and experience are outlined in the addendum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients in collaboration with other disciplines.
• Monitor and interpret patient rhythms and hemodynamics and administer prescribed cardiac medications.
• Assist with emergencies including cardio versions and temporary pacemaker insertions as needed.
