Job summary

Toms River Surgery Center is hiring a per diem Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. The Circulating RN will position and prep patients and circulate cases across GI, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, and Podiatry procedures.

A minimum of 1 year as a Circulator is required, with active RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS as per center requirements. We offer a competitive hourly pay range and a supportive, accredited environment.

Qualifications

• RN to provide nursing care during surgery and assist with patient positioning and prep.
• Circulating RN responsibilities include maintaining sterile technique and case circulation.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Circulator in surgical settings.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient and prep for surgery.
• Circulate the case during procedures.
• Support surgeon and anesthesia team as needed.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Toms River Surgery Center

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: GI, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Pay Range: $49.00 - $53.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.)
