Medacs Healthcare Limited is recruiting locum Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) to support theatres across Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. Roles available at Southend University Hospital, Broomfield Hospital and Basildon Hospital, with options for weekday or flexible full-time shifts.

You will join a multi-skilled anaesthetic team delivering safe, high-quality care across a range of surgical specialties, needing HCPC registration, UK work rights, and ILS where applicable.

Formación

• HCPC registration is required.
• Minimum of 6 months UK based Operating Theatre experience.
• Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
• ILS/Paediatric ILS desirable.
• Mentoring or teaching qualifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, high-quality care across surgical specialties.
• Work as part of a multi-skilled anaesthetic team.
• Support across sites including Southend University Hospital, Broomfield Hospital and Basildon Hospital.
• Provide mentoring or teaching to junior staff.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be part of a multi-skilled anaesthetic team delivering safe, high-quality care across a range of surgical specialties, including:

• Head & Neck
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• General Surgery
• Urology
• Vascular
• HCPC or NMC Registration (RGN/ODP)
• Minimum of 6 months UK based Operating Theatre experience
• Right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship is available for this role)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Immediate Life Support (ILS) / Paediatric ILS
• Mentoring or teaching qualification
