Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale data platforms.
• Hands-on with OSS data ecosystems: Spark, Trino, Airflow, Apache Superset.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-prem hosting.
• Security architecture expertise: threat modelling, IAM, encryption, logging, secure SDLC.
• End-to-end solution design from requirements to production support.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain architecture artefacts (HLDs/LLDs, reference architectures, ADRs).
• Contribute to petabyte-scale data platform design built on OSS tech.
• Evaluate technologies, run PoCs, document trade-offs, promote reusable patterns.
• Own end-to-end solution design for custom-built cybersecurity applications.
• Provide architecture input to software engineering and platform teams.
• Partner with governance teams to ensure alignment with controls and standards.
• Help ensure solutions are compliant and within cost boundaries.
• Collaborate across geographies and contribute hands-on when needed (coding).
