Job description

*** OpenShift Virtualization Architect - 6 months - Remote (United Kingdom) ***

On behalf of one of our key partners, RED is seeking an OpenShift Virtualization Architect for a project. The initial contract duration is 6 months.

This role is to start as soon as possible and is fully remote, based in the UK.

We are looking for architects across the EMEA region with experience in Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, specifically in delivering Virtualization Migration Assessments (VMA).

Specific skills and experience required:

1. Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to assess current infrastructure and plan future virtualization goals.
2. Perform Virtualization Migration Assessments, including high-level design and project scoping.
3. Identify existing VM workloads and define storage and networking requirements.
4. Understand operational needs such as automation, monitoring, disaster recovery, and compliance.
5. Co-create a migration plan and high-level solution design tailored to the client's needs.
6. Deliver documentation including roadmaps, technology landscapes, and proposed migration approaches.
