Job summary

Thiess is seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Operators (Excavator) to join the Curragh North team in Australia. The role focuses on operating excavators and related equipment to support safe, efficient mining production.

You will work within a 7/7 DN roster and collaborate with supervisors and peers to maintain high safety and productivity standards in open-cut coal mining environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience operating excavators and/or ancillary equipment such as dozers, graders or loaders in an open cut coal mining environment.
• Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts/LMS documents) signed by an SSE or delegate.
• Current Standard 11.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a team.

• Operate excavators and ancillary equipment safely and efficiently to achieve production targets.
• Maintain a strong commitment to Thiess' safety culture, procedures, and operational standards.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to deliver safe, reliable, and productive mining operations.
