Job summary

Frontiers is seeking a Publishing Development professional to grow open-access journals by reaching out to researchers and editors, recruiting Editorial Board members, and nurturing collaborations that boost visibility and submissions.

You will manage a dynamic sales pipeline, develop outreach strategies, and leverage AI tools to identify prospects and personalise outreach while building trust with growing journals and research communities.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in sales, outreach, business development, or another target-driven environment.
• Proven track record of achieving ambitious goals.
• Comfortable with uncertainty and building new opportunities.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to engage new audiences.
• Curiosity about science and growing research communities.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to researchers and editors to build collaborations.
• Create and execute outreach strategies to increase journal visibility.
• Manage a dynamic sales pipeline from first contact to publication.
• Use AI tools to research prospects, personalize outreach, and manage the pipeline.
• Build long-term relationships with authors, editors, and researchers.
• Represent journals at conferences and events to raise awareness.
