Job summary

Qualifications

• RGN with current UK NMC registration.
• Supporting Learners in Practice (SLIP) or similar recognised qualification.
• Educated to Nursing Degree level or on degree pathway.
• Level 6 leadership course.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership and forward planning of OPD services.
• Lead by example to foster culture of respect, belonging and psychological safety.
• Oversee OPD areas with Band 6 NiC competencies and clinical skills.
• Support Senior OPD team and service needs.
• Assess and support RNs and HCAs to practice competently and develop.
