Purosearch is recruiting an Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon for a well-established RCVS Tier 2 accredited hospital in Somerset. This permanent role offers an excellent work-life balance and an opportunity to specialise in emergency and critical care within a modern facility.

You will work on-site with dedicated OOH nurses, a structured sleeping rota, and access to CT advanced imaging, ultrasound and endoscopy.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with eligibility to register with the relevant veterinary body.
• Interest in emergency and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide out-of-hours veterinary care in a Tier 2 hospital.
• Work with a dedicated OOH nursing team and access to CT, ultrasound and endoscopy.
• Maintain high standards of patient care with an excellent work-life balance.
