Job summary

Apex Resource Management is recruiting a Test Engineer to support the integration, testing and validation of vehicle systems across Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment and Diagnostics. The role is fully onsite in Crewe and involves hands-on work with vehicles, test rigs and software.

The successful candidate will automate testing using Python, Robot Framework and Anna Framework, analyze vehicle logs, and collaborate with suppliers to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on vehicle testing in automotive environments.
• Experience with test benches and vehicle components.
• Knowledge of Python-based test automation.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support construction, maintenance and management of test rigs and vehicles across Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment and Diagnostics.
• Capture and specify system integration and test requirements.
• Support test planning and validation activities to ensure quality targets are met.
• Plan and manage project-related activities on a weekly basis.
• Report project status and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Investigate complex system test and integration challenges using company tools.
• Analyse vehicle logs to identify root causes and deliver solutions.
• Develop comprehensive test approaches and automate testing where possible.
