Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Community and Estates Management teams. You will perform repairs and planned maintenance to building fabric, mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance and high standards for residents.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining records of maintenance activities. Candidates should have trade qualifications and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• General education up to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Awareness of health and safety on site.
• Recognised trade qualification relevant to repairs (e.g., Building Crafts Operative Certificate, City & Guilds or NVQ).

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance in residential buildings.
• Oversee minor works and manage external contractors.
• Maintain safety, RAMS and permits to work.
• PAT testing and emergency lighting checks.
• Liaise with residents and team on works.
• Ensure grounds and common areas are clean and safe.
