Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Community and Estates Management teams in delivering high-standard repairs and maintenance across the property. You will inspect faults, undertake day-to-day repairs, and ensure compliance of building services, equipment, and grounds.

The role requires experience in domestic repairs in residential settings, trades qualifications (plumbing, electrical, carpentry), and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Experience of undertaking repairs and maintenance in a domestic residential environment or as a general builder/residential construction in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
• Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
• A recognised trade qualification relevant to repairs and maintenance in a residential building is essential.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Community team to ensure residents enjoy a high level of cleanliness and maintenance in the community.
• Inspects, diagnoses faults and undertakes repairs; administers maintenance records and RAMS/Permits to Work.
• Maintains safety and compliance checks, PAT testing, emergency lighting, and fire safety procedures.
• Coordinates with external contractors, suppliers and Estates Management to ensure timely completion of works.
• Responds to on-site needs and supports budgetary/resource parameters while keeping residents informed.
