Job summary

National Gas at the St Fergus Gas Terminal is seeking a Project Operations Representative to act as the key interface between the project and Operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of activities on site. You will provide technical support, review drawings, attend progress meetings and drive safety, change management and compliance across principal contractors.

Applicants should have experience in electrical, instrumentation or control systems, apprenticeship, HNC/HND, CompEx, and a UK

Qualifications

• Experience designing, maintaining or commissioning electrical, instrumentation, electronics or control systems.
• Strong understanding of process safety principles in an operations context.
• Completed apprenticeship in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics or Control Systems.
• Minimum HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
• CompEx Ex01-Ex04 certification for installation, inspection and maintenance in hazardous areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the project team and respond to technical queries.
• Locate and verify operational and as-built drawings.
• Attend progress meetings and advise on plant operations.
• Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Maintain hands-on site engagement with critical assets.
• Manage setting to work and safe control of work procedures.
• Initiate and manage change modifications across design and commissioning.
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, HAZCON and LOPA studies.
