Job summary

EDF is seeking a skilled Project Engineer/AP to lead on-site engineering and lifting operations across major projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager, site teams and the wider engineering function to ensure lifting operations and engineering solutions are delivered safely, efficiently and to high quality standards.

This role suits an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced site environment, enjoys real-time problem solving, and can contribute directly to complex, high-value project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Proven site experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with heavy lift transport and cranes.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering expertise on-site to develop lifting and transport solutions.
• Produce and review drawings, calculations, lift plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Oversee lifting activities on-site to ensure safety, efficiency and quality.
• Conduct site surveys and provide practical lifting solutions for live environments.
• Coordinate between client, site teams and engineering functions.
• Maintain documentation control throughout the project lifecycle.
