Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Plumber to join its team in Chatham, Kent. In this role, you will maintain the safety and reliability of essential facilities, performing both planned and reactive maintenance across various systems.

The ideal candidate will have plumbing experience, be able to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team, and have a relevant plumbing qualification. The role requires on-site work with a total of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable plumbing experience, ideally within a commercial or facilities environment.
• Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to fault find and repair a range of mechanical and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Respond to reactive maintenance tasks such as leaks and blockages.
• Diagnose and repair faults across plumbing, heating, and water hygiene systems.
