Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Swansea is seeking a Maintenance Plumber to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding on plumbing and mechanical systems across the facility, ensuring reliability and compliance with health and safety procedures.

You will install and modify water systems, pipework and fixtures in line with drawings, regulations and industry standards; support contractors, carry out safety inspections and train maintenance colleagues in basic plumbing

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing.
• Previous experience in a maintenance plumbing role.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance practices.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Flexible approach with a strong customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, installations and fault-finding on water systems.
• Install water systems, pipework and fixtures in line with drawings and standards.
• Maintain waste and vent pipe systems with appropriate equipment.
• Support contractors and on-site teams with plumbing expertise.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections and PPM tasks, including backflow devices where certified.
• Assist in maintaining safe and compliant building operations.
• Provide guidance and basic plumbing training to maintenance colleagues.
• Carry out general building maintenance duties as directed.
• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and breakdowns.
