Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a highly skilled Static Plumber with a strong background in plumbing, mechanical maintenance, HVAC and fabric maintenance to support our facilities team across our sites in the United Kingdom.

The role covers reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM), a 40-hour week (Monday to Friday), and an on-call rota with a standby payment of £150. The company offers development opportunities and a collaborative working environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
• Additional mechanical qualifications such as HVAC certifications or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role in commercial/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC, and building fabric maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and drainage.
• Respond to plumbing emergencies such as leaks, clogs, and burst pipes.
• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and rectify them.
• Maintain water heaters, boilers and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing systems and components.
• Carry out minor repairs on building fabric (walls, ceilings, floors).
