Job summary

FMC Limited is seeking an Operational Excellence Coach for the FMCG manufacturing space. This remote/field-based role covers the UK and Ireland with extensive travel to customer plants across EMEA. You will lead end-to-end frontline transformations, coaching operators to adopt Lean and achieve measurable productivity and OEE gains.

The role is not desk-based: spend ~90% of time on factory floors, manage 5-6 accounts, and drive 90-day deployment cycles with four-week onsite deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing leadership experience on the shop floor (Plant/Production/OpEx).
• Proven track record in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM or Operational Excellence with measurable gains.
• Fluent in English with strong communication at all levels.
• Willingness to travel ~90% across EMEA, Monday–Friday.
• Experience improving OEE and throughput in FMCG manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on onsite deployments across multiple plants within 90-day cycles.
• Coach frontline operators, supervisors and plant leadership to adopt Lean practices.
• Run Kaizen events and continuous improvement rituals grounded in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, OpEx.
• Partner with plant leaders to challenge status quo and deliver productivity and OEE gains.
• Build trusted relationships from production lines to senior leadership.
