Job summary

Babcock invites applications for a Maths Tutor based onsite at MOD Lyneham, Wiltshire. The role focuses on delivering Level 3 Maths, with a 37-hour week and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Candidates should have Maths Level 3 delivery experience and safeguarding awareness. A Certificate in Education & Training (desirable) and GCSEs in Maths/English are preferred. Security clearance (BPSS) is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Maths at Level 3.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face Level 3 Maths courses to cohorts of up to 16 learners.
• Provide coaching, feedback and guidance to support learner progress and assessment readiness.
• Carry out invigilation, assessments and maintain learner records in line with awarding body and ESFA standards.
• Collaborate with quality, compliance and delivery teams to ensure programme standards are met.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons tailored to diverse learner needs, including SPLDs and neurodiverse requirements.
