Job summary

ABP UK is recruiting a Machine Setter at the Glasgow Penston site to ensure production targets are met with high quality while adhering to GMP and H&S standards.

You will manage day-to-day setup of machinery, coordinate with engineering and production teams, and maintain a strong safety culture across the shift. This permanent, full-time role offers development opportunities within a leading food producer.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC controlled equipment.
• Able to follow Health & Safety and GMP standards.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up Packing Lines, Formers, Fillers, Mincers, Slicers, and PLCs.
• Carry out Start up checks.
• Set up machinery to product specifications.
• Changeover of equipment.
• Carry out tool changes.
• Liaise with managers/supervisor/engineering to ensure optimum efficiencies.
• Drive a positive Health and Safety culture by always ensuring personal safety.
