Job summary

Eduthing in Farnham is seeking four Level 3 IT Support Technician Apprentices to join its Onsite Engineering team and support a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) across schools. This apprenticeship combines hands-on IT work with formal Level 3 training and a structured development path.

You will troubleshoot basic hardware and software, set up user accounts, and assist with IT services while learning from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to schools, assisting with technical issues and ensuring staff have access to reliable IT services.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software and network issues.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of user accounts, including password resets and access permissions.
• Install, configure and update software and operating systems.
• Support computers, laptops, tablets, mobile devices and networking equipment.
• Work with onsite engineers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Escalate issues when necessary and apply learning to improve knowledge.
• Develop customer service skills and communicate clearly with staff.
