Job summary

DISConsulting IT is seeking a proactive, customer-focused engineer to join our expanding MSP team in Basingstoke. You’ll deliver on-site IT support and work on diverse project work for a range of clients, helping to solve real-world challenges and build strong customer relationships.

From 1 year of IT support experience, you’ll handle 1st/2nd line requests, work with Microsoft 365, Windows, and basic networking, and contribute to cloud and security projects.

Qualifications

• 1+ year IT support experience, ideally in an MSP environment.
• Microsoft 365 and Windows experience.
• Network knowledge (Wi-Fi, VLANs).
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle 1st/2nd line support requests.
• Support and administer Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (ADDS, DHCP, DNS, VPN).
• Visit customer sites for installs, break/fix work, and networking refreshes.
• Build and configure hardware in the office.
• Contribute to Microsoft Cloud migrations, Intune rollouts, hosted Azure VMs, and Wi‑Fi refreshes.
• Develop knowledge articles and workarounds for the Service Desk.
• Ensure activities align with policies, security, and data protection standards.
