Job summary

Churchill Estates Management is expanding its HR team and seeking an HR Advisor to support managers and colleagues with expert, pragmatic people management across the business. The role focuses on complex employee relations, employment law alignment, and driving fair, inclusive practices.

The position is based at our Ringwood head office, requiring on-site presence five days a week, with travel as needed to support national operations. We value a practical, business-minded HR approach.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing complex and sensitive ER cases independently.
• Strong working knowledge of employment law.
• Excellent influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience using HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the lead advisor on a range of employee relations cases.
• Providing timely, commercially sound advice to managers on ER issues.
• Managing escalated or high-risk ER cases with balance of legal risk, wellbeing and business priorities.
• Supporting organisational change initiatives including restructures, TUPE, and consultation processes.
• Identifying ER trends and providing insights to reduce risk and improve engagement.
• Reviewing and applying HR policies consistently across the organisation.
• Supporting development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and toolkits.
• Coaching and developing manager capability in ER matters.
• Producing ER metrics and reports to inform decision-making.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.
