Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks Ltd is seeking a field-based Service Technician to carry out service and repairs on customer sites, maintaining documentation and working to planned schedules. You will monitor van stock, complete paperwork, and ensure tools and equipment are kept in safe condition while meeting customer deadlines.

You should have strong fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and good English and maths GCSEs. The role offers a company van, pension, and generous holidays.

Qualifications

• English and Maths GCSE grade C (or equivalent).
• Experience of Health & Safety requirements in workshop practice.

Responsibilities

• To carry out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional and cost effective manner.
• Work to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at client premises.
• Monitor van stock and ensure sufficient parts for daily maintenance.
• Complete job sheets, timesheets and requisitions within deadlines.
• Manage equipment and tooling (van, laptop/tablet) ensuring safe condition.
• Work to strict schedules and deadlines.
• Carry out inspections and monitor safety of trucks.
