Job summary

AMT Project Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing initiatives in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire. Immediate start required; you will coordinate contractors, engineering teams and client representatives to deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget.

You will plan and control schedules, budgets and procurement, manage risks and reporting, ensure hygiene and safety compliance, and liaise with stakeholders to align expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Strong coordination of contractors and stakeholders.
• Experience with NEC, JCT contracts.
• Able to mobilise immediately and work on-site in Middlesbrough.
• Proficient in MS Project and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate resources, subcontractors and engineering teams to meet deadlines.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and take corrective actions.
• Manage procurement, procurement processes and variation control.
• Ensure health, safety, quality and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Provide weekly progress reports and governance documentation.
