Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking a Fluid Analysis Chemist for its Manchester laboratory. You will perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, prepare samples, and report results in a collaborative analytical team environment.

You will also contribute to data management, method development, and safety compliance in a fully equipped lab. The role is onsite at Trafford Park and offers a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential extension to 9 months.

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemistry required.
• 1–3 years laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of GLP and COSHH desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute qualitative and quantitative analyses/tests in a laboratory setting.
• Implement improved analytical test methods to enhance capabilities and accuracy.
• Record, analyse and report laboratory observations and results.
• Maintain equipment and space, ensuring safe waste disposal and housekeeping.
