Job summary

VRS Equipment Leasing Limited in Liverpool is seeking an analytical chemist to conduct routine and non-routine analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, drug substances and finished products onsite. You will be part of an established CRO delivering scientific support to a global pharma facility.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a pharmaceutical lab and hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, Dissolution and UV Spectroscopy, plus strong GMP compliance and method validation

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 years experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment
• Experience with a broad range of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, Dissolution & UV Spectroscopy
• Experience validating, optimising and troubleshooting analytical methods
• Thorough understanding of working in a GMP environment

Job description

This position is with an established contract research organisation specialising in providing scientific support onsite/ in person to a global pharma manufacturing facility located in Liverpool. The purpose of this role is to conduct both routine & non-routine analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, drug substances and finished products. It is an ideal opportunity for an experienced analytical chemist seeking to establish themselves at the site of a global pharma organisation.
