Job summary

Forrest Recruitment Ltd. is assisting a leading global distribution business in Manchester to recruit a Fluid Analysis Chemist to perform laboratory testing, prepare and analyse customer samples, and manage data within a well-equipped analytical laboratory.

You will conduct qualitative and quantitative tests, record observations and test results, maintain equipment and workspace, and contribute to technical problem solving in a global R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Experience performing qualitative and quantitative tests in a laboratory.
• Familiarity with wet chemistry and health & safety principles.
• Proficient in recording and reporting test results with accuracy.
• Experience using MS Office for data reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative tests for current and new product ranges.
• Carry out prescribed analytical tests and determinations.
• Accurately record, analyse and report lab observations and results.

A leading global distribution business has a vacancy for a proven Fluid Analysis Chemist.

As a Fluid Analysis Chemist, you will perform laboratory testing, prepare and analyse customer samples, manage laboratory data, and contribute to technical problem solving in a well-equipped analytical laboratory environment.

Job duties:

• Conducting qualitative and quantitative tests and analysis in a laboratory setting for current and new product ranges
• Carrying out prescribed analytical test and determinations
• Accurately record, analyse and report lab observations and test results
• Maintain equipment glassware and workspace, ensuring chemicals and raw materials are stored correctly

Essential experience required:

• Minimum qualification BSc in Chemistry
• One - to - three years' experience
• Good working knowledge of wet chemistry and all aspects of Laboratory health & safety
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
