Job summary

Atlas Copco in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions. You will ensure the performance and longevity of customers' equipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will represent Atlas Copco on-site, install, service, and troubleshoot compressors and related equipment, log activities digitally, and participate in on-call support and ongoing training to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or engineering roles with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Mechanical or electrical qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfortable with standard IT applications and new digital service tools.
• Valid UK driving licence with a clean record (<= 3 points).
• Strong safety mindset and proactive problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Represent Atlas Copco on-site with a customer-first approach.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment.
• Diagnose faults and deliver expert repairs safely and efficiently.
• Log service activity with digital tools and maintain records.
• Support on-call needs and urgent service requests when required.
• Attend live training and team sessions to keep skills updated.
• Act as a brand ambassador and identify value-added opportunities.
• Collaborate with the service team to improve processes and safety.
