Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Resident Engineer to join our team and be stationed at a customer site. You will diagnose and resolve issues, perform preventative maintenance, and service modern forklift and material handling equipment.

You will work both autonomously and with a team to ensure peak fleet performance and outstanding customer support. Applicants should have experience as vehicle or forklift technicians, a full UK driving licence, and be comfortable using IT equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technician or forklift technician is highly desirable.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Comfort with IT equipment and record-keeping is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep customer equipment at peak efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.
• Service Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team to support customers and protect product reputation.
