Job summary

TXO Group in Solihull, West Midlands, is hiring a Repair Engineer for onsite laboratory work. You will test, diagnose and repair parts in accordance with specifications and procedures, and assist with new project integration in the Repair Operations workshop.

The role requires extensive component-level repair and screening experience, with skills in PCB repair, SMT/through-hole soldering, and electronics maintenance.

Qualifications

• Extensive component level repair and screening/testing experience.
• Ability to reverse engineer boards to understand design and functionality.
• Strong soldering and electronics diagnostics skills.
• Experience with PCB repair and hardware testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Test and Repair customer equipment to client requirements.
• Ensure test specifications align with manufacturers or industry standards.
• Test, Repair, and Screen equipment and return to working stock with proper IDs.
• Lead handover of projects into the workshop and support continuous improvement.
