Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, is seeking an Electrical Inspector to safeguard production quality. You will perform visual and functional inspections of wiring, PCBs, and enclosures, using tools like calipers and multimeters, and translate schematics into robust inspection plans.

The role requires SC level security clearance, full‑time on‑site work (Mon–Thu), and a focus on safety and continuous improvement in collaboration with Design, Production, and Reliability teams.

Qualifications

• IPC620 – Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies.
• Understanding and handling of ESD products.
• Performing electrical inspection verification with measurement tools (DVM, Ohmmeters).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
• Basic problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Inspection & Testing – visual, dimensional and functional inspection of wire harnesses, PCB assemblies and enclosures.
• Interpret schematics & documentation and translate into inspection plans and checklists.
