Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to uphold safety, quality, and delivery standards on a fast-paced production floor in the United Kingdom.

You will inspect products from raw materials through finished goods, document findings, and work with production teams to address quality issues. Role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure, and experience with quality control tools and SAP.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector (>2 years) in an Electromechanical manufacturing environment or in a similar role.
• Desirable: HND/HNC, or Certified Quality Engineer
• Desirable: Lean or TQM.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting products and identifying defects: inspect at different stages of production and document defects or deviations.
• Measuring and inspection: use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions, functionality, and safety.
• Interpreting technical drawings/specifications: read and understand drawings to ensure standards.
• Continuous improvements: suggest adjustments to production to improve quality.
• Reporting: document inspection results and input data into quality databases.
