Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation in Bolton is seeking an Electrical Inspector subcontractor for an initial 12-month contract. You will inspect and certify hardware, verify assemblies, and maintain QA documentation on site in Bolton. IPC 610/620 certification is preferred, with several years of skilled experience and an NVQ-level apprenticeship or equivalent.

Hybrid/remote is onsite only, standard day shifts, with overtime paid at time and a half after 37 hours. IR35 Inside (Umbrella) applies.

Qualifications

• Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC.
• Several years of experience as a skilled person.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all elements necessary to achieve and maintain the quality of deliverable hardware.
• Certification of product in line with processes and procedures.
• Examining for correct assembly including verifying all forms of electrical connections.
• Inspect for physical damage and finish quality; check for non-conforming items.
• Raise and maintain data records/non-conformance reports and certify manufacturing data packs.
