Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Training Analyst Designer at Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth, to shape future workforce capabilities within the PCEP. You will conduct training needs analysis and contribute to designing learning solutions that enable safe, competent performance in complex engineering and defence settings.

The role involves collaborating with SMEs, developing competency profiles, and driving training improvements in a high-security, UK defence environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex engineering/technical training environments.
• Understanding of training compliance and regulated environments.
• Ability to gather and interpret requirements from SMEs and stakeholders.
• Experience analysing business, technical or learning requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support design activities within Systems Approach to Training process.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to analyse capability and competency requirements.
• Identify learning needs and recommend training interventions for current and future workforce.
• Develop competency profiles and training solutions to drive performance and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness.
